Un coq , which is the French for “rooster” is an acrylic piece on stretched canvas, 70×30 inches. It was made exclusively with palette knives. It was created for her mother who loves roosters. Also, this animal is the unofficial French mascot. Story has it, the Latin word for rooster “gallus” is the same as the one for Gauls, hence the adoption of a rooster for French emblem since the times of Ancient Rome. It is now hung in her childhood home in France.
